Combatting Islamophobia
We are committed to combating Islamophobia in London, and throughout Canada, by advocating for policies that protect Muslim communities and promote public awareness.
Palestine
We actively support the rights of the Palestinian people through lobbying, advocacy, and strategic engagement. Hikma's work includes advocacy on foreign policy, humanitarian aid, and protection of Canadian Palestinians in our communities.
Political and Media Advocacy
Through advocacy, we work towards a fair representation of Muslims in politics and the media. We also work with our community partners as we work towards increasing Muslim participation in the civic process.
About Hikma
Founded in 2015 during an important Federal Election year, Hikma (Arabic for “wisdom”) has worked towards combating Islamophobia in all its forms, including by increasing the political participation of Muslims.
